The Lerman Team started with a dream, a glass of wine, and a great big goal. Today that dream has become a reality, the glass of wine has been shared with many clients and friends and the goal keeps getting bigger.

Laura Lerman started her adult life wondering what direction she would go. In her early 20s, she knew that real estate was going to somehow be a big part of her story. She was just not sure how. At the age of 28 (2008), she found herself divorced, with two kids, starting a new business (not real estate), no education, and $34 to her name. Life was hard yet, she was thankful her mom opened her home for Laura and her two small kids. She worked hard at growing her new business always knowing she wanted more. A life worth living was always the goal.

In 2014, Laura met Craig and they immediately started building a life together. At this point life was quiet, the kids were getting older, and the business was doing okay. But there was still something missing. That is when the decision was made! It was time to start on her real estate journey. Craig cheered her on and in September of 2015, after months of studying, she had her real estate license in hand.

Very quickly she placed her license with Keller Williams, took lots of classes, and talked to anyone who would listen about real estate. It did not take long before her real estate addiction was real and her career was taking off at lightning speed. Helping and educating people on how to buy and sell real estate was the most fun she ever had in a J-O-B and she loved every minute! After about a year and with eyes wide open she stepped up and started teaching other Realtors how to help grow their businesses! That’s when she found her real passion - coaching!

In 2021, Laura decided The Lerman Team needed more than what a normal brick-and-mortar broker could provide. After lots of research and time, it was decided that eXp Realty was the best fit for what her team was looking for! The team held their breath, took a leap of faith, and joined eXp Realty! It was the best move she could have made for herself and her business. She loves what eXp has to offer and has found a better way to help her clients grow her business, and mentor agents on an ongoing basis! Real Estate is the perfect fit!

She considers herself an expert in the North Metro Atlanta Market (having lived in the area since 1987) and loves to learn more and more about the great area. Laura specializes in listings, buyers, relocation clients, luxury real estate, first-time buyers, staging, and renovations.

As her love for real estate continues to grow, she continues to open new doors. In 2021 she and Craig purchased their first rental property! They found and purchased twenty acres in South Louisiana, tying her back to her home state and roots. They have a goal of 5000 rental properties in their real estate portfolio and continue to add doors to get to that goal. In 2022 she found another love in the real estate world and her dream of renovating homes became a reality! Now she is hooked. HGTV here she comes. lol

In her spare time, Laura loves traveling with her family of eight, including her kids and husband Craig! There should always be a vacation on the calendar! She also enjoys training and walking Mazi the Realtor Doberman, dancing, and setting and smashing goals. Through her kids, she has found a love for lacrosse, wrestling, band, and tennis.
